What is a Massload Weighing System?

The System consists of two Loadbeams and an Indicator. The Loadbeams sense the weight and can be used beneath a platform, crate, or squeeze chute for weighing hogs, cattle, deer, exotics, horses, or any variety of livestock. The Loadbeams are connected to the Indicator by cables, and the weight measured by the loadcells is sent to the Indicator's digital display.

How Easily Can it be Set Up?

All you need is a firm level surface in your working facilities (ideally a cement pad) on which to position the Loadbeams,crate or squeeze chute. Then you're ready to set up your scale.

How do I calibrate my scale?

The load beams are pre-calibrated and tested at our factory. After the installation of the platform, chute, squeeze etc. the customer follows a one-time, simple and easy to follow re-zeroing procedure. The system is then ready to use. This information is supplied with scale.

ML1000 Loadbeam digital animal scales are heavy-duty electronic weigh scales, available in 2,500, 5,000, or 10,000 lb. capacities. They mount easily under any cattle squeeze, hog crate, feed hopper, or custom platform. The scale system is capable of 1/10 percent accuracy, and can be used in operating temperatures of -40 to +40 degrees C.

Loadbeams are Galvanized Construction for permanent outdoor installation. There are no moving parts to wear out, and no costly maintenance. The Loadbeams utilize four ML100 Shearbeam loadcells that are manufactured by Massload to industry standards. They are interconnected by rodent proof cabling.

The units are calibrated and balanced at the factory, eliminating the need for an installation technician. Install the scale, press the Zero button, and you're ready to weigh. This also allows you to compensate for manure, mud, or snow build-up on the scale surface.
